Signal Name Description Condition Impact
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component when an unused alarm was triggered.
EPAS application component ResetHandler detected unregistered alarm.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component if various misc error detection alarms.
EPAS application component ResetHandler detected unexpected uC alarm.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component when there is various data integrity (ECC) alarms. The MCU has a number of reset sources. This diagnostic symbolizes those of them. Some are not required as diagnostic by the safety concept, yet they exists in the MCU. Some are required, but very microcontroller specific.
EPAS uC memory corruption (ECC) detected (data integrity alarms check) fails.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component when there is a flash memory read failure.
EPAS uC memory read access failed (FLASH).
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component when there is an internal overvoltage detection. This diagnostic handles the overvoltage events reported by the PMS (Power Management System).
EPAS ECU power monitoring detected overvoltage.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component when there is a internal undervoltage detection. This diagnostic handles the undervoltage events reported by the PMS (Power Management System).
EPAS ECU power monitoring detected undervoltage.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component on die temperature sensor out of range.
EPAS uC die temperature sensor reports value out of range.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component when there is a Lockstep failure: cores no longer synchronized or provided different values.
EPAS uC dual core lockstep fault (cores no longer sync).
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the TemperatureSensorPowerModule_R12 (TSPM) component when the power module temperature sensor comparison failed.
EPAS ECU actuator monitor detected failure (power module temperatue plausibility check).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU failure. Bootstrap capacitor short detection or GDU internal rail undervoltage check
EPAS ECU GDU device monitor detected failure (capacitor short detection or internal rail undervoltage).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when the start up tests in ActuatorTest fails
EPAS ECU actuator management tests failure at startup.
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU overtemperature.
EPAS ECU GDU device monitor detected failure (overtemperature).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when the bridge FET test failed.
EPAS ECU actuator monitor detected failure (bridge-FETs).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU failure. GDU internal rail overvoltage check. The GDU contains a set of internal voltage rails and their voltage monitors. The GDU reacts, software just logs it.
EPAS ECU GDU device monitor detected failure (internal voltage voltages).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when PWM pattern check failed, probably bridge FET or GDU failure.
EPAS ECU actuator monitor detected failure (PWM phases).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU failure. This diagnostic checks the parity of the messages sent by the GDU.
EPAS ECU GDU device monitor detected failure (wrong parity bit on serial communication).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU failure. GDU monitors gate-to-source voltage, sets a flag and the software checks it.
EPAS ECU GDU device monitor detected failure (gate-to-source voltage).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU failure. This diagnostic checks the voltage level between the drain/source of each MOSFET in the primary actuator path and reacts if the voltage level is higher than specified.
EPAS ECU actuator driver hardware (MOSFETs) voltages exceed tolerated difference.
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU failure. This diagnostic reads the critical GDU registers and compares them to their expected values.
EPAS ECU GDU device (management storage) plausilty check (value in GDU differs to the value in MCU) failed.
EPAS reset requested will be performed at the moment when it doesn't providing assist.
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a GDU failure. This diagnostic tests the primary GDU safety monitors to avoid the existence of latent failures.
EPAS uC memory read access failed (FLASH).
EPAS full loss of assist.
