Signal Name Description Condition Impact
This alert is reported in case a reset is caused by exception on core1.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected exception (core1) which causes a guarded reset.
EPAS reset.
This alert is reported by the FrequencyTransformer_R12 (FT) component when the electrical angle QoS is Substitute Value or Error and RotorPositionAge tolerance time elapsed. This diagnostic compares the 2 local RPSs, and compares the local RPSs and the remote one. If no RPS is available or it is not decidable which RPS is usable, it signals this.
Electrical angle QoS is Substitute Value or Error and RotorPositionAge tolarence time elapsed.
Unreliable absolute steering position provision qualifier. Virtual End Lock deactivation.
This alert is reported when the ElapsedTimeSinceReset (ETSR) counter becomes greater than the ETSR_THRESHOLD_TIMESTAMP and counter forced to 0xFFFFFFFF.
EPAS elapsed time since reset (ETSR) counter becomes greater than the tolarated limit and counter forced to 0xFFFFFFFF.
EPAS QM reset when is less likely to disturb the driver. If it is not possible, there will be incoming communication freeze and a reset.
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXCH) component when there is a watchdog timeout exception.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected exception (watchdog).
EPAS reset.
This alert is reported when there is a motor overtemperature. Degradation parameters/estimator shall be checked, if those are correct, HW failure.
EPAS application diagnostics detected overtemperature (motor actuator).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the Deadline Monitor (DM) when at least one of the monitored tasks didn't finish or finished multiple times during its configured time frame on Core 1.
EPAS application operating system monitor detected task timeout or task finished multiple times during its configured time frame on Core 1.
EPAS reset.
This alert is reported by the DeadlineMonitor (DM) if the elapsed time between two 250us task starts is out of the tolerated range on Core 1 then Safety Reset is initiated.
EPAS application operating system monitor detected out of tolerated range elapsed time between two 250us task starts on Core 1.
EPAS reset.
This alert is reported if (DC Link capacitor temperature higher than limit or not available) for at least debounce limit long time. The alert is cleared, if the temperature is below the overtemp threshold, and its qualifier is RELIABLE for long enough.
EPAS application diagnostics detected overtemperature (DMC EMI filter).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the TemperatureModelPSFETJunction (TMPSFETJ) components when checking overflow of possible values of estimated temperatures. Possible values are calculated according to defined data constraints.
Overflow of possible values of estimated temperatures.
EPAS uses not reliable estimations for temperature.
This alert is reported when Bridge FET short may be present.
EPAS application diagnostics detected bridge fet short.
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported in case of an Inter-MCU configuration mismatch between two ECU side.
EPAS detected configuration mismatch between two ECU side.
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported when at startup, before reporting the previous error with the reset reaction, ErrorHook was called again because of an error in a partition which is configured to handle such errors with immediate safety reset. This error ID will show the last problem which caused the invocation of the ErrorHook with reset as the partition reaction.
ErrorHook was called again because of an error in a partition which is configured to handle such errors with immediate safety reset.
EPAS reset.
This alert is reported by the OsErrorHandler_R12(OSEH) component when before reporting the previous error, ErrorHook was called again because of an error in a partition which is configured to handle such errors without requesting immediate safety reset.
If any OS service returns a StatusType value other value than E_OK. Reported if while processing OS error occurred in QM partition one more OS error is detected.
EPAS reset.
This alert is reported if (DC Link capacitor temperature higher than limit or not available) for at least debounce limit long time. The error is cleared, if the temperature is below the overtemp threshold, and its qualifier is RELIABLE for long enough.
EPAS application diagnostics detected overtemperature (CMC EMI filter).
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the DeadlineMonitor_R12 (DM) component if the elapsed time between two runnable calls is out of the tolerated range, then Safety Reset is initiated.
EPAS application operating system monitor detected runnable timeout on Core0.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXCH) component when there is an unknown exception.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected unregistered uC exception by ASIL D partition.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component when an unused alarm was triggered.
EPAS application component ResetHandler detected unregistered alarm.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component if various misc error detection alarms.
EPAS application component ResetHandler detected unexpected uC alarm.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component when there is various data integrity (ECC) alarms. The MCU has a number of reset sources. This diagnostic symbolizes those of them. Some are not required as diagnostic by the safety concept, yet they exists in the MCU. Some are required, but very microcontroller specific.
EPAS uC memory corruption (ECC) detected (data integrity alarms check) fails.
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the HwResetHandler_TC3x (RSTH) component when there is a flash memory read failure.
EPAS uC memory read access failed (FLASH).
EPAS reset
