Signal Name Description Condition Impact
This alert is reported when there is a Inter-MCU comm failure or other side is not communicating (UV or other failure).
The signal is unavailable because checksum error, or the signal is unavailable because Alive counter error, or Timeout (no frame arrived), or Frame size is out of range.
EPAS A and B sides are not able to communicate. Steering assist reduced or might be unavailable.
This alert is reported by MCUSafetyStartupChecks_TC3x (MCUSSC) component when the memory Built-In-SelfTest failed, MCU failure.
EPAS memory BIST transient error detected.
EPAS reset. If reset more than 6 then EPAS fallback to bootloader.
This alert is reported by MCUSafetyStartupChecks_TC3x (MCUSSC) component when the memory Built-In-SelfTest failed, MCU failure.
EPAS memory BIST timeout.
EPAS reset. If reset more than 6 then EPAS fallback to bootloader.
This alert is reported by MCUSafetyStartupChecks_TC3x (MCUSSC) component when wrong ECU_ID in FLASH.
EPAS End Of Line ECU ID is incorrect.
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by MCUSafetyStartupChecks_TC3x (MCUSSC) component when the current MCU ID is not supported.
EPAS End Of Line MCU ID is not supported.
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXCH) component when no-reset exception occurred before the previous similar exception was reported and guarded reset was requested.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected exception ( QM partition) which causes a guarded reset.
EPAS still can provide assist. MCU reset on the exception side.
This alert is reported when there is a CRC failure in the periodic register CRC checking. MCU internal error OR SW systematic failure.
EPAS MCU periodic register checking failure (CRC doesn't match the expected).
EPAS reset. If reset more than 6 then EPAS fallback to bootloader.
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXCH) component when no-reset exception occured before the previous similar exception was reported.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected additional exceptions at stop/restart of partition.
EPAS still can provide assist. MCU reset on the exception side.
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXHA) component when there is a SRI bus violation.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected exception (SRI bus violation).
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the ActuatorManager_R12 (AM) component when there is a current measurement failure.
Current measurement failure. Phase current QoS is not set to at least QOS_CS_REDUCED_PRECISON in NoPhaseCurrentQoSDebounce time during StandbyToOn state. EPAS application diagnostics of phase current measurement detected failure.
EPAS full loss of assist.
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXHA) component when there is an unexpected interrupt on either core.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected exception (unexpected interrupt).
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the OsErrorHandler_R12(OSEH) component when ErrorHook was called because of an error in a partition which is configured to handle such errors with requesting a guarded reset. This error is reported after the guarded reset.
If any OS service returns a StatusType value other value than E_OK. The error is reported after a guarded reset caused by OS error.
EPAS reset.
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXHA) component when there is a bus level MPU violation.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected exception (bus level MPU violation).
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by MCUSafetyStartupChecks_TC3x (MCUSSC) component when the Secondary Monitor and Standby SMU Built in Self Test failure, MCU failure.
EPAS secondary monitor and standby SMU BIST timeout
EPAS full loss of assist
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXCH) component when exception with reaction other than reset.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected exception (QM partition) at stop/restart of partition.
EPAS still can provide assist. MCU reset on the exception side.
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXHA) component when there is NMI caused by other alarms. Memory access violation check. This diagnostic checks if a thread or other bus master (e.g. DMA) tries to access memory region that it is not authorized to access.
EPAS application component ExceptionHandler detected exception (other alarms caused NMI).
EPAS reset
This alert is reported by the ExceptionHandler_TC3x (EXHA) component when there is a internal Protection exception.
