Signal Name Description Condition Impact
The Autopilot electronic control unit reports the Autopark feature has found a parking space but all necessary conditions are not met to attempt a parking maneuver. This alert indicates the Autopark feature did not display a potentially available parking space on the touchscreen user interface because all prerequisites were not met.
Autopark space is found but prerequisites for an Autopark maneuver are not met. The alert is set when the vehicle passes a well defined space, but conditions detected by the Autopilot ECU or the Drive Inverter prevent the space from being shown to the driver. The alert payload should provide more information
Autopark is not available for an apparently empty / appropriate parking space
When the Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) boots, the right repeater camera is unable to initialize.
When the Autopilot ECU boots, communication cannot be established with the right repeater camera.
Autopilot features are unavailable or limited. Right repeater camera feed is blank on the touchscreen, in dashcam recordings, and in Sentry mode recordings.
When the Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) boots, the left repeater camera is unable to initialize.
When the Autopilot ECU boots, communication cannot be established with the left repeater camera.
Autopilot features are unavailable or limited. Left repeater camera feed is blank on the touchscreen, in dashcam recordings, and in Sentry mode recordings.
When the Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) boots, the right pillar camera is unable to initialize.
When the Autopilot ECU boots, communication cannot be established with the right pillar camera.
Autopilot features are unavailable or limited
The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the firmware version running on the Park Assist (PARK) ECU is not compatible with the firmware version the Autopilot ECU is running.
The Autopilot ECU detects the PARK ECU is running a firmware version that is not compatible with the firmware version installed on the Autopilot ECU.
Autopark and other Autopilot features are not available

The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) detects the radar ECU is running a firmware version that is not compatible with the firmware version installed on the Autopilot ECU. May occur after an unsuccessful or incomplete firmware update, and may be resolved through a successful firmware update.
The Autopilot ECU detects that the radar firmware cyclic redundancy check (CRC) does not return the expected result, indicating Autopilot ECU and radar ECU are not running compatible firmware versions.
Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) is unavailable. Other Autopilot features may be limited or unavailable.
One or more of the messages the Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) receives periodically from the electronic parking brake (EPB) ECU is not received, indicating the EPB ECU may be unavailable (MIA).
One or more of the expected messages from the EPB ECU is not received, making EPB status unknown.
Autopilot features may be unavailable, or may not function as expected.
One or more of the messages the Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) receives periodically from the park assist (PARK) ECU is not received, indicating the PARK ECU may be unavailable (MIA).
One or more of the expected messages from the PARK ECU is not received. Alert log signal data should provide more information on specific message(s) missing.
Autopilot features may be unavailable, or may not function as expected. Any active Autopark maneuver will be aborted, and Navigate on Autopilot will be unavailable.
The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) detects a condition affecting radar ECU communication.
The Autopilot ECU sets this alert when the radar ECU reports missing Controller Area Network (CAN) messages or invalid values of CAN messages. Alert log signal data should provide information on the specific messages affected and condition(s) detected.
Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) is unavailable. Other Autopilot features may be limited or unavailable.
The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) sets this alert when the radar ECU reports a condition affecting its sensor. May set temporarily due to environmental conditions that affect radar visibility.
The Autopilot ECU detects a condition affecting radar sensor performance. Alert log signal data should provide information on the specific condition(s) detected.
Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) is unavailable. Other Autopilot features may be limited or unavailable.
The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) sets this alert when the radar ECU reports a condition affecting performance, which may include an internal issue, configuration mismatch, or battery over-voltage condition.
The Autopilot ECU detects a condition affecting radar ECU performance. Alert log signal data should provide information on the specific condition(s) detected.
Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) is unavailable. Other Autopilot features may be limited or unavailable.
The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) detects a potential front collision event and engages Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB).
The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) detects a potential front collision event.
The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) will engage the brakes while displaying a visual indication and playing an audible chime via the User Interface (UI) to notify the driver of an Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) event.
User notification that Autopilot features are unavailable. This alert is set in addition to one or more alert(s) indicating a specific condition affecting Autopilot functionality.
At least one additional alert is present indicating a condition affecting Autopilot functionality. Alert log signal data should provide more information on the specific condition(s) detected.
All autopilot features are not available
One or more of the messages the Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) receives periodically from the radar ECU is not received, indicating the radar ECU may be unavailable (MIA).
One or more of the expected messages from the radar ECU is not received. Alert log signal data should provide more information on specific message(s) missing.
All Autopilot features are unavailable.
Autopilot was aborted from active state, causing Autopilot features to disengage.
Autopilot was aborted due to Autosteer criteria needed to provide active control of the vehicle no longer being fulfilled. Alert log signal data should indicate reason(s) for Autopilot aborting.
Autopilot is disengaged.
The Autopilot electronic control unit (ECU) has detected that the steering angle rate requested by the Autopilot system is greater than the maximum allowed steering wheel angle rate. This may occur when driving at high speeds on roads with steep curves. Autopilot functionality will be temporarily limited.
While Autosteer is activated, this alert is active if the vehicle's current steering angle rate is greater than the maximum road wheel angle rate over the last 250 milliseconds.
The User Interface (UI) will notify the driver of a temporary reduction in Autopilot functionality, and Autopilot functionality will be limited.
Steering angle requested by the Autopilot system exceeds the permissible steering angle, leading to Autopilot disengaging and a chime sounding via the User Interface (UI).
The steering angle control requested by the control algorithm is greater than the maximum permissible steering angle at that speed.
Autosteer is temporarily unavailable, and a chime is played through the User Interface (UI).
