| Signal Name | Description | Condition | Impact |
|---|---|---|---|
The low voltage (LV) bus and LV battery are not adequately supported by the power conversion system (PCS).
There is 0.5V or greater difference between the PCS voltage and the LV battery voltage.
The low voltage electrical system cannot continue to power all vehicle features when the LV bus is not adequately supported. It may be necessary to shed some vehicle electrical loads by cutting power to less essential electronic control units (ECUs), and another alert will be present to indicate that condition. Vehicle may be unable to drive or continue driving, with another alert present to indicate that condition.

the adjustable termination is active when it should be off
CAN bus termination set when unexpected
Vehicle CAN bus may have errors

The vehicle is in a self-test state, which typically indicates a self-test of a vehicle component, system, or functionality is running. Some functions will be inhibited, and some non-standard behaviors will occur.

The Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) enabled Winch Mode but did not receive the expected messages from the steering system.
Winch Mode is enabled, but the EPB did not receive the expected messages from the steering system.
Steering performance may be reduced or steering may be unavailable until Winch Mode is disabled.
The seat track motor has unexpectedly stalled.
Current draw exceeds stall limit.
Motor will recalibrate if the stall is in an expected region, do nothing otherwise.
Electronic Parking Brake noticed very noisy current
At <-10C noisy motor current for more than 1s during inrush or anytime during no-load
Diagnostic alert for noisy current while Electronic Parking Brake is active

The vehicle controller detects the the low voltage (LV) battery may be overdischarged and no longer functional. This may indicate the LV battery has been damaged due to deep discharge, or it may indicate the LV battery voltage has dropped below the minimum limit for maintaining functionality.
The vehicle controller detects LV battery voltage or LV battery Amp hour (Ah) budget are below their limits for 5 seconds.
The LV battery may be unable to hold adequate electrical charge to remain functional. Replacement may be necessary, with a separate alert present to indicate that condition if applicable.
The backrest motor has unexpectedly stalled, which may cause the motor to recalibrate.
The current draw of the backrest motor has exceeded the stall limit.
If the stall occurs in an expected region, the backrest motor may recalibrate.
The backrest motor is uncalibrated
Motor calibrated is 0

After a single discharge and recharge cycle, the low voltage (LV) battery has been overcharged by more than 5 Amp hours (Ah) compared to initial charge level. If this continues, it may indicate a condition affecting LV battery performance that makes replacement necessary. May also indicate aftermarket device(s) installed on the vehicle, whose current draw interferes with LV battery management.
Over a single charge cycle, the LV battery has recharged by more than 5Ah compared to the power initially discharged.
10 independent instances of this alert indicate a chronic overcharge condition that may require LV battery replacement to resolve, and at least one other alert should be present to indicate that condition.
The seat track motor is not calibrated, which may cause position recall to be unavailable.
The seat track motor is detected as uncalibrated (calibrated state of the seat track motor is 0).
Position recall may be unavailable, meaning the preset user preferences for seat positions may also be unavailable.
The vehicle controller detects that the left headlight has not been aimed or requires re-aiming.
A replacement left vehicle controller (VCLEFT) has been installed.
The headlights may not properly illuminate the area in front of the vehicle or may dazzle oncoming drivers.
The vehicle controller detects the low voltage (LV) battery voltage is lower than expected during a precharge event. When this occurs too many times, separate alerts will also be present to indicate precharging the high voltage (HV) bus may not succeed and the LV battery may need replacement.
An instant resistance check of the LV battery connections to the vehicle controller does not succeed (does not return a healthy result). Alert log signal data should provide more information on specifics, including load current, LV battery temperature, and any detected voltage dip.
The LV battery may be unable to support vehicle electrical systems, including precharging the high voltage (HV) bus.
