Signal Name Description Condition Impact
The primary source of brake pedal press detection (iBootster output rod position and qualifier) is not valid.
The iBootster output rod position and qualifier are not valid or are not received by VCLEFT.
VCLEFT may not interpret the brake pedal status correctly.
Rear Left (RL) ride height sensor is detected as unplugged or disconnected. When no signal is received from the sensor input pin, headlamp leveling corrections are blocked.
No signal has been detected on the Rear Left (RL) ride height sensor input pin.
Headlamp leveling corrections are blocked.
Window glass did not drop while opening the door
Was unable to roll down the window when opeing the door
May cause bright damage and difficulty closing the door
FL ride height sensor detected shorted or otherwise faulty. n/a to North American or Air Suspension eqiupped vehicles.
FL ride height sensor input pin shorted; input signal frequency above 840 Hz or below 760 Hz; input duty cycle above 87.5% or below 12.5%; input duty cycle changing too quickly (3300% / sec)
Headlamp leveling corrections blocked.
A fault has been detected with the left map pocket light.
The light is unplugged, doesn't draw current when on, or its efuse is tripped
The left map pocket light may not be working.
Mirror stalled unexpectedly while folding or unfolding
If folding motor current exceeds 0.5A or decreases below 0.1A after 500ms from beginning of actuation. Or timeout from current state after 5 seconds.
Mirror might be halfway between folded and unfolded
A fault has been detected with the left interior trunk light.
The light is unplugged, doesn't draw current when on, or its efuse is tripped
The left interior trunk light may not be working.
A side-view mirror started a fold or unfold movement, but then stalled before finishing the movement. The mirror will attempt 1 retry to complete the movement.
Sets if the mirror folding motor current exceeds 0.5A at some point, but then decreases to below 0.1A between 200ms - 1750ms after the beginning of actuation. Also sets at the end of the retry actuation to capture/log additional data.
The mirror will stop for 400ms before attempting the retry. If the mirror unexpectedly stalls again during the retry, it may be left partially folded/unfolded.
Brake Switch Faulted: power rail (5V_MAIN_EXT) required for brake switch reads < 4.5V
Brake Switch Faulted: power rail (5V_MAIN_EXT) required for brake switch reads < 4.5V
Vehicle controllers will not be made aware of the brake being pressed
Intrusion Sensor is not communicating
The intrusion sensor is unplugged or has experienced an internal fault
Intrusion Sensor is not functional
Trailer detected but the gateway (GTW) configuration for tow package is NONE, or there is a mismatch between config and the electronic control unit (ECU) hardware ID.
GTW_towPackage is NONE and a trailer has been detected, or GTW_towPackage is not the same as the Trailer Light Controller (TLC) hardware ID.
Tow functionality may not be available.
Rear exterior handle reported disconnected
Handle has just become reconnected or has been disconnected for longer than 1 second
If this alert persists the exterior handle may not work
The Trailer Light Controller has experienced an internal fault
The trailer light controller has experienced an internal fault
One or more trailer lights may not operate correctly
Battery Backed Siren not detected on LIN bus
Battery Backed Siren not detected on LIN bus
Horn will sound instead of siren during an alarm event
The overhead console experienced an internal condition affecting its operation. Its features may not operate as expected.
The overhead console is not responding over the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) due to an internal condition affecting its operation.
Overhead console, switches, lights or hazards may not operate as expected.
The vehicle has detected at least one electronic control unit (ECU) required to supplement high voltage (HV) battery heating with waste heat running a firmware (software) version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle. When this occurs, the vehicle controller blocks the supplemental HV battery heating to make sure no ECU required is limited or unavailable due to firmware. May occur after an unsuccessful or incomplete firmware update, and may be resolved through a successful firmware update.
The vehicle detects at least one ECU required to supplement HV battery heating with waste heat running a different firmware version than expected.
Inability to use waste heat to supplement HV battery heating may make charging at colder temperatures limited or unavailable.
When EPB was applying the current measured went above the max no load current before piston position estimate predicted it would.
EPB measure current greater than max no load current before piston position estimate expect it would.
EPB may have debris blocking it from clamping correctly.
The left vehicle controller detects a wiper module communication error, indicating the wiper module may be disconnected.
The wiper module is powered for more than 500 ms and wiper communication errors over local interconnect network (LIN) are reported.
No wiper functionality.
A condition has been detected affecting the left brake light.
The light is unplugged, does not draw current when on, or its EFuse is tripped.
The left brake light may not function as expected.
EPB releases no-load is measured using derivative of current. Currently in ghosted alert.
No-load current suggested the EPB was not in no-load causing release to continue.
EPB may not released far enough causing drag on rotor.
