The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that system start conditions are met with at least one faulted unit.
The DI ECU detects that at least one faulted unit is present, and the system is able to drive on the remaining units, before a gear shift occurs on the first drive cycle.
This alert is informational only to the user.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) is limiting the top vehicle speed after a certain amount of time to protect the drive system from wear.
The DI ECU detects that vehicle speed exceeded 135mph (215km/h), or 145mph (230km/h) for performance vehicles, for more than 1 minute.
After 1 minute above the upper speed threshold, the DI ECU slows the vehicle down to the threshold speed.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the Secondary Electric Power Steering (SEPS) controller area network (CAN) node is missing (MIA).
The DI ECU is not receiving the expected CAN communication from the SEPS, and considers it irrational or MIA.
The DI ECU is unable to monitor the state of the SEPS.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) automatically shifted to Park after vehicle was in stationary hold for prolonged time.
The DI ECU automatically requests park if vehicle has been in stationary hold for 9.5 minutes.
Vehicle is shifted into park.
Irrationality of the rear2 right active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor output does not match rational reference
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
Irrationality of the rear2 left active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor output does not match rational reference
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
Irrationality of the rear1 right active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor output does not match rational reference
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
Irrationality of the rear1 left active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor output does not match rational reference
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
Acceleration is limited due to a closure being open at low speed.
One or more doors or the front trunk is open when the vehicle is driving at a low speed. This includes the trunk when in Reverse.
Vehicle acceleration is limited.
Irrationality of the front right active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor output does not match rational reference
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that a permanent magnet drive unit has gone missing while the high voltage (HV) system is not up
The DI ECU is not receiving the expected CAN communication from a permanent magnet drive unit, and considers it irrational or MIA.
The DI ECU cannot determine the state of a permanent magnet drive unit.
Fault of the rear2 right active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor not operating correctly
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
Fault of the rear2 left active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor not operating correctly
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
Fault of the rear1 right active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor not operating correctly
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
Brake pedal regenerative brake (regen) torque is unavailable.
The brake actuator is unable to recieve external braking requests from the Drive Inverter (DI), the DI ECU detects that some or all velocity estimate inputs are unavailable, or the Pedal Monitor (PM) identifies an issue with the brake pedal regenerative braking system.
Additional regen is not available when pressing the brake pedal. Accelerator pedal regen may be available. Brake pedal may feel different.
Fault of the rear1 left active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor not operating correctly
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
Regenerative braking (regen) backfill braking torque is unavailable, requiring driver to apply brake pedal more frequently to decelerate / stop.
External Brake Request (EBR) or active damping is unavailable.
Drive inverter may not be able to supply the expected deceleration torque normally supplied by regenerative braking (regen) when braking. Driver will need to apply brake pedal more frequently to decelerate and stop.
Fault of the front right active wheel speed sensor.
Sensor not operating correctly
Traction control and stability control may fault due to this error. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution if these sytems are faulted.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the installed tire type has changed.
The detected tire type has changed
The top speed may have changed, and the user's top speed override has been reset
This alert tells the user how to enter Neutral (N) when the drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the stalk is in N position for less than the required time of 1 second, causing a N drive mode request to not complete. The user must hold the stalk in the first detent to enter N.
Stalk is detected in N position (first detent) for less than 1 second, causing a Neutral (N) drive mode request to not complete.
No impact on vehicle function. This alert is intended to help the user enter N. User may be experiencing difficulty entering Neutral when the alert is set.
