There may be an issue with the transmitting Electronic Control Unit (ECU) or CAN bus.
Controlled Deceleration via Parking Brake (CDP) may be unavailable.
The IDB detects a condition that precludes CDP function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MCU, ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (IMU measurement, CDP interface signals).
The IDB may not generate brake pressure in response to a request to shift to park while the vehicle is in motion.
Drive Inverter (DI) system status message DI_systemStatus was not received or message length is incorrect.
DI_systemStatus is not received for longer than 100 milliseconds or DI_systemStatus is received with incorrect data length for longer than 100 milliseconds.
There may be an issue with the transmitting Electronic Control Unit (ECU) or CAN bus.
Secondary Collision Mitigation (SCM) may be unavailable.
The IDB detects a condition that precludes SCM function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (Intertial Measurement Unit [IMU] measurement, SCM interface signals).
The IDB may not automatically bring the vehicle to a stop in case a collision is detected by the Restraint Control Module (RCM).
The Brake Disc Wipe (BDW) request is invalid.
BDW is requested within less than 10 seconds since the previous BDW application or the EPBL_brakeDiscWipeRequest CAN signal is received as EPB_BRAKEDISCWIPE_REQUEST_SNA for longer than 1 second.
The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) may not automatically wipe the brake discs in wet or cold conditions.
Hydraulic Fade Compensation (HFC) may be unavailable.
The IDB detects a condition that precludes hydraulic fade compensation function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (Intertial Measurement Unit [IMU] measurement).
The IDB may not increase brake torque to mitigate brake fade. Heavy braking should be avoided. Increased braking effort may be necessary to achieve desired deceleration when brake temperatures are high. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
Panic Brake Assist (PBA) may be unavailable.
The IDB detects a condition that precludes panic brake assist function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (Intertial Measurement Unit [IMU] measurement).
The IDB may not increase brake torque above the current request in response to fast brake pedal inputs. The brake pedal must be pressed firmly and continuously to stop during emergency braking. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
Standstill skid detection may be unavailable.
The IDB detects a condition that precludes standstill skid detection function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, wheel speed sensor) or signal alerts (Intertial Measurement Unit [IMU] measurement).
The IDB may not be unable to monitor for vehicle motion while all four wheels are stationary. Vehicle hold may not automatically release if the vehicle skids.
The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) is unable to generate system-level brake torque in response to the DI_brakeTorqueCommand CAN signal.
The IDB has determined the brake torque request DI_brakeTorqueCommand to be invalid or has an internal issue that prevents it from generating brake torque in response to DI_brakeTorqueCommand. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (Intertial Measurement Unit [IMU] measurement, External Brake Request [EBR] interface signals).
The IDB may not respond to brake torque requested in DI_brakeTorqueCommand.
The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) is unable to actuate Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) or Brake Traction Control (BTC) requests.
The IDB detects a condition that precludes VDC function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (VDC interface signals).
The IDB may not respond to DI commands to build brake torque to control vehicle dynamics or wheel spin. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
