Signal Name Description Condition Impact
Refrigerant compressor operation is inhibited. Cabin cooling (air conditioning) will be disabled. Powertrain performance may be limited. Other alerts relevant to the specific condition should be present, including refrigDischg (refrigerant discharge), refrigSuct (refrigerant suction), exvMotor (chiller EXV motor), evapSolenoid (evaporator solenoid), or thmlFan (thermal fan) alerts.
A condition affecting refrigerant system hardware is detected, the refrigerant compressor has an internal condition affecting performance, or other abnormal refrigerant system conditions are detected.

The vehicle controller detects the refrigerant compressor is reporting an internal condition.

An expected CAN message from the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) electronic control unit (ECU) has not been received within the expected timeout, or the message drop rate is too high while the ESP is CAN active.
