Signal Name Description Condition Impact
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the rear Oil Pump Controller (OPCR) electronic control unit (ECU) is running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle.
The GTW detects the OPCR running a different firmware version than expected.
Features depending on rear oil pump functionality may be limited or unavailable. Inability to use waste heat to supplement high voltage battery heating may make charging at colder temperatures limited or unavailable.
The Gateway (GTW) is unable to read or write to the mircoSD card, which may cause vehicle logs to be missing or inaccessible.
The GTW is unable to read or write to the mircoSD card. Alert log signal data should provide more information on the specific condition(s) detected.
Vehicle logs may be missing or inaccessible.

The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects its microSD card file system has become corrupted and needs to be formatted.
The GTW file system driver detects the microSD card file system is corrupted.
Controller area network (CAN) logs / logging and vehicle firmware updates will be unavailable. Previously stored logs will be lost due to file system corruption.
The vehicle gateway (GTW) cannot initialize its microSD card, which may indicate the microSD card is not installed correctly or needs to be replaced.
The GTW file system driver unsuccessfully attempts to initialize the GTW microSD card. The GTW is unable to communicate with its microSD card.
Controller area network (CAN) logs / logging and vehicle firmware updates will be unavailable.
The vehicle gateway (GTW) has not received an expected state message from the Rear View Mirror (RVMIRROR) electronic control unit (ECU) via the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) within the required time period.
The GTW does not receive the state LIN message from RVMIRROR ECU at the expected frequency.
Gateway unable to monitor RVMIRROR state
One or more of the messages the vehicle Gateway (GTW) receives periodically from the homelink module is not received, indicating the homelink module may be unavailable (MIA).
The GTW does not receive one or more of the expected messages from the homelink module within the expected time frame over the local interconnect network (LIN).
Homelink features may be unavailable or may not function as expected.
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the firmware version manifest, the list of expected firmware versions each electronic control unit (ECU) should be running, is corrupted or invalid. To prevent possible conditions affecting vehicle functionality, the GTW automatically classifies every ECU as having a firmware version mismatch and separate alerts should be present to indicate that condition.
The checksum of the firmware version manifest stored in the GTW is invalid and does not match the expected parameters, indicating the data is corrupt or invalid.
Vehicle is unable to drive, charge, or support the low voltage (LV) battery / electrical system until the GTW detects the firmware version manifest as valid to make sure no essential vehicle functionality is limited or unavailable due to firmware.
The vehicle gateway (GTW) has not received an expected state message from the Right Seat Heater (RIGHTSH) electronic control unit (ECU) via the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) within the required time period.
The GTW does not receive the state LIN message from RIGHTSH ECU at the expected frequency.
Gateway unable to monitor RIGHTSH state
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the secondary Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS3S) electronic control unit (ECU) is running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle.
The GTW detects the EPAS3S ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
Power steering may be limited or unavailable.
The vehicle gateway (GTW) has not received an expected state message from the Left Seat Heater (LEFTSH) electronic control unit (ECU) via the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) within the required time period.
The GTW does not receive the state LIN message from LEFTSH ECU at the expected frequency.
Gateway unable to monitor LEFTSH state
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the right vehicle controller (VCRIGHT) electronic control unit (ECU) is running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle.
The GTW detects the VCRIGHT running a different firmware version than expected.
Vehicle is unable to drive, charge, or support the low voltage battery / electrical system until the firmware version mismatch is resolved, to make sure right vehicle controller functionality is not limited or unavailable due to firmware.
The vehicle gateway (GTW) has not received an expected state message from the Media Control Unit (MCU) via the Ethernet Bus (ETH) within the required time period.
The GTW does not receive the state ETH message from MCU ECU at the expected frequency.
Gateway unable to monitor MCU state
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the Temperature Humidity Sensor (THS) electronic control unit (ECU) is running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle.
The GTW detects the THS ECU running a different firmware version than expected.
Thermal management system features depending on Temperature Humidity Sensor functionality may be limited or unavailable.
