Signal Name Description Condition Impact
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) reduces acceleration because it detects a potential pedal misapplication (when the user presses the accelerator in Drive or Reverse when they meant to press the brake).
The DI ECU detects that the accelerator pedal was pressed past the set threshold and the driver assistance system (DAS) detects an object with a high enough level of confidence.
The DI ECU limits torque/acceleration.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects a condition that causes it to cancel Autopark.
The DI ECU detects a condition that causes it to cancel Autopark. Alert log signal data provides information on the specific condition(s) detected.
Autopark is canceled and the parking brake is activated.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) informs customer that Autopark was canceled.
Set when Autopark is canceled. Alert log signals provide more information on the specific condition(s) detected, such as the vehicle not being in the expected gear, automatic emergency braking (AEB) is active, cruise control is active, or there is a state timeout
Autopark is canceled.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) informs customer of Vehicle Hold release required.
Set when vehicle not in Park AND cruise/Autopark is not regulating AND either (accelerator pedal is >90% while in standstill hold OR vehicle enters standstill at downhill >4% grade).
Alert is to inform customer that vehicle hold is active.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) is only sending torque to the front drive inverter (DIF) ECU.
The DI ECU detects a condition affecting the rear drive unit, and only sends power to the front drive unit.
Torque and power are only being produced from the front drive unit.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) only sending torque to the rear drive axle.
The DI ECU detects a condition affecting the front drive unit, and only sends power to the rear drive unit.
Torque and power are only being produced from the rear drive unit.
Cruise control is unavailable because the drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the driver's seatbelt is unbuckled.
Cruise control is requested, and the DI ECU detects that the driver's seatbelt is unbuckled.
Cruise control is unavailable.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects a steering angle offset that is approaching the plausibility threshold.
The DI ECU detects that the steering angle offset exceeds the warning threshold.
Stability control and traction control will become unavailable if steering angle offset continues to increase and exceeds the plausbility threshold.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects a steering angle offset that exceeds plausibility.
The DI ECU detects that the steering angle offset exceeds the sensor plausibility monitor threshold, or there is an issue with the sensor plausibility monitor.
Stability control and traction control are unavailable, requiring greater manual input from the driver.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects a significant change in tire circumference ratio from front to rear axle, between square (similar circumference) and staggered (different circumference) during a drive cycle.
Set when vehicle detects the ratio of tire circumference from front to rear axle has changed between square (similar circumference) and staggered (different circumference) during a drive cycle, and tire config was not requested.
If the tire fitment change detection is a false positive (no change in front to rear tire circumference ratio), user may experience more traction control activity. No impact if detection is a true positive (a change has occurred).
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) releases the brakes during an external brake request (EBR) because it detects that the vehicle may be skidding.
The DI ECU detects that the vehicle may be skidding while the user is pressing the brakes (EBR).
The brake is released.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects a condition that prevents it from engaging cruise control.
The DI ECU reports that cruise control is unavailable. Alert log signal data provides information on the specific condition(s) detected.
Cruise control is unavailable.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the low voltage (LV) supply is too low to shift into Drive.
The DI ECU detects that the LV supply is below the alert threshold.
The vehicle cannot enter Drive.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that both the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal were pressed at the same time.
The DI ECU detects that both the accelerator and brake pedals are pressed at the same time.
Power is reduced.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the accelerator was pressed while the vehicle is in Park or Neutral.
The DI ECU detects that the accelerator pedal was pressed while the vehicle is in Park or Neutral.
The DI ECU does not provide any torque, and displays user-facing message.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) cannot confirm that a vehicle controller ECU requested a drive state, and as a result blocks shifting into Drive or Reverse.
The DI ECU does not receive a controller area network (CAN) message requesting a drive state.
The vehicle cannot enter Drive.
The drive inveter (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the tire configuration has been updated.
This alert is set when the user runs Tire Configuration in the Service UI, or the similar ODIN routine is run through Toolbox. It could indicate the vehicle recently had tire service, and the user is inputting the new tire information.
This alert indicates the vehicle is quickly learning the new tire configuration in order to improve the driving experience and reduce loss of regen or drive torque after tire service.
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) enables regenerative braking and disables traction control because Dyno Mode is active.
Active when Traction Control Dyno Mode is entered.
Regenerative braking is enabled without traction control enabled. Vehicle stability outside of a dyno environment may be compromised.
