Description
The damper valve solenoid type configuration value reported by the vehicle gateway (GTW) does not match the damper valve solenoid type supported by the firmware version running on the Tesla Air Suspension (TAS) electronic control unit (ECU).
Condition
The TAS ECU detects a mismatch between the damper valve solenoid type supported by its firmware and the damper valve solenoid type reported by the GTW.
Clear Condition
The damper valve solenoid type reported by the GTW matches the damper valve solenoid type supported by the TAS ECU firmware.
Potential Impact
Adaptive damping controls are unavailable. All dampers receive a fixed mid-level current instead.
