CAN messages from the Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS) ECU have an invalid checksum value during the Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC), indicating an error in data integrity has been detected.
Condition
3 or more CAN message frames from the LKAS ECU have an invalid checksum value
Clear Condition
CAN messages received as expected
Potential Impact
Active Driver Assist System (ADAS) control is disabled, and Steering assist may be affected, since the Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS) to Steering Torque Overlay (STO) interface is interrupted
