What you'll see in your Tesla

  • Not Available

What triggers it

The voltage supplied by the RCU to the pedal travel sensor is too high or low, the pedal travel sensor signal is not received, or the pedal travel sensor signal is received as invalid.

When it clears

The RCU pedal travel sensor power supply voltage returns in range and a valid pedal travel signal is received for 1 second.

Potential impact

The RCU may use the Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) pedal travel sensor signal to determine driver brake pedal input instead of the RCU's sensor.

Affected models

Model Y 2025+
