What triggers it
The IDB receives the PM_vdcCmdState CAN signal as COMMAND_INVALID, or the PM_state2 CAN message has a checksum, counter, or message length error.
When it clears
The PM_vdcCmdState Controller Area Network (CAN) signal is received as valid and CAN message integrity checks pass after the Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) is power cycled.
Potential impact
The IDB may not respond to DI commands to build brake torque to control vehicle dynamics or wheel spin. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
