What triggers it

The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) receives the RCM_lateralAccel CAN signal as Signal Not Available (SNA) or the RCM_lateralAccelQF CAN signal as FAULTED for longer than 1000 milliseconds, or the RCM_inertial2 CAN message has a checksum, counter, or message length error.

When it clears

RCM_lateralAccel and RCM_lateralAccelQF Controller Area Network (CAN) signals are received as valid for 1000 milliseconds.

Potential impact

There may be an issue with the transmitting Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
