Description
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) status message EPBL_status counter is incorrect.
Condition
The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) receives the EPBL_status Controller Area Network (CAN) message with incorrectly incrementing counter for longer than 1000 milliseconds.
Clear Condition
EPBL_status is received with correctly incrementing counter for 1000 milliseconds.
Potential Impact
Controlled Deceleration via Parking brake (CDP) and Brake Disc Wipe (BDW) may be unavailable. There may be an issue with the transmitting Electronic Control Unit (ECU). The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
