What triggers it

The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) receives either the DIF_torqueActual Controller Area Network (CAN) signal as Signal Not Available (SNA) or the DIF_axleTorqueQF CAN signal as INVALID or FAULTED for longer than 100 milliseconds.

When it clears

Valid DIF_torqueActual and DIF_axleTorqueQF are received for 100 milliseconds.

Potential impact

The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) may not generate brake torque requested by DI_brakeTorqueCommandFull and instead generate brake torque requested by DI_brakeTorqueCommand. There may be an issue with the transmitting Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
