What triggers it

The IDB detects a condition that precludes CDP function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MCU, ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (IMU measurement, CDP interface signals).

When it clears

The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) detects that any conditions precluding CDP function are no longer present while the vehicle is parked.

Potential impact

The IDB may not generate brake pressure in response to a request to shift to park while the vehicle is in motion.
