What triggers it

BDW is requested within less than 10 seconds since the previous BDW application or the EPBL_brakeDiscWipeRequest CAN signal is received as EPB_BRAKEDISCWIPE_REQUEST_SNA for longer than 1 second.

When it clears

A valid EPBL_brakeDiscWipeRequest Controller Area Network (CAN) signal is received for 1 second, or the Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) is power cycled.

Potential impact

The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) may not automatically wipe the brake discs in wet or cold conditions.
