What triggers it

The IDB detects a condition that precludes standstill skid detection function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, wheel speed sensor) or signal alerts (Intertial Measurement Unit [IMU] measurement).

When it clears

The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) detects that any conditions precluding skid detection function are no longer present while the vehicle is parked.

Potential impact

The IDB may not be unable to monitor for vehicle motion while all four wheels are stationary. Vehicle hold may not automatically release if the vehicle skids.
