  • Not Available

What triggers it

The IDB detects a condition that precludes VDC function. This alert may be accompanied by causal hardware alerts (MicroController Unit [MCU], ASIC, solenoid valve, pump, wheel speed sensor, hydraulics) or signal alerts (VDC interface signals).

When it clears

The Integrated Dynamic Brake (IDB) detects that any conditions precluding VDC function are no longer present while the vehicle is parked.

Potential impact

The IDB may not respond to DI commands to build brake torque to control vehicle dynamics or wheel spin. The vehicle should be driven with extreme caution.
