Description
The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects the Pedal Monitor Rear Axle 1 Right Unit (PMRE1R) electronic control unit (ECU) is running a firmware version that may not be compatible with the firmware installed on the rest of the vehicle.
Condition
The GTW detects the PMRE1R running a different firmware version than expected.
Clear Condition
The GTW no longer detects the PMRE1R running a different firmware version than expected.
Potential Impact
Vehicle is unable to drive until the firmware version mismatch is resolved, to make sure PMRE1R functionality is not limited or unavailable due to firmware. Inability to use waste heat to supplement high voltage battery heating may make charging at colder temperatures limited or unavailable.
