The GTW receives an unrecognized CAN message from another ECU.
When it clears
The GTW no longer receives any unrecognized CAN messages from another ECU. May occur after a successful vehicle software update, if the unexpected message resulted from incompatible software version running on another ECU or a software bug. Otherwise, may require identifying and removing external equipment from a CAN bus.
Potential impact
CAN communication between ECUs, and between the GTW and other ECUs, may be limited or unavailable.
