The vehicle gateway (GTW) detects an abnormally high amount of message traffic on the Chassis (CH) controller area network (CAN) bus. May result from a specific electronic control unit (ECU) showing unusual level of CAN activity or due to an unexpected event causing higher message rate than expected from multiple ECUs.

Some CAN messages sent over the CH bus may be dropped / not received. Features depending on communication over the CH bus may be limited or unavailable.
