What triggers it
The GTW does not receive the system status CAN message from EPAS3P ECU during 5 consecutive message cycles (for 50ms) while the vehicle is in Drive.
When it clears
The GTW receives the system status CAN message from EPAS3P ECU as expected. Clears automatically when the vehicle exits Drive, and may be resolved completely (does not set again) when starting the next drive cycle.
Potential impact
Power steering and Autopilot features depending on EPAS3P, including Autosteer, may be limited or unavailable.
