This alert is reported by the ColumnTorqueController_R12 (CTC) component when there is a problem with one of the necessary inputs of the column torque controller. Column Torque Controller is not able to calculate assist torque.

What triggers it

If one of its necessary signals are not available or if the necessary parameters are not available. The column Torque Controller is not able to calculate assist torque. Sensor failure (TSU, RPS), or magnet temperature implausible.

When it clears

Inputs (motor angle speed, the torsion bar torque and the estimated motor torque) and parameters are available.

Potential impact
