This alert is reported when there is a GDU communication failure.
Condition
EPAS ECU GDU device monitor detected failure (wrong parity bit on serial communication). After consecutives retries and error is still present.
Clear Condition
Perform EPAS Software update. Replace HW if the alert persists.
Potential Impact
EPAS full loss of assist.
