DPB_a011_PtsNonZeroStage1
Power braking assist reduced
What does the DPB_a011_PtsNonZeroStage1 alert mean?
Pedal travel sensor reports a nonzero value during first stage.
What you'll see in your Tesla
- Power braking assist reduced
- Braking may require increased effort
What triggers it
The input rod sensor signal shows a positive value that is larger than the specified offset of the sensor during driving situations. This might be due to a sensor condition, mechanical issue in the pedal assembly, or the driver pressing the pedal. The monitoring counts the time in which the input rod sensor signal is higher than the specified offset and the acceleration pedal is applied simultaneously while the vehicle is driving.
When it clears
A Good Check is performed if the input rod signal is smaller than the specified offset of the sensor
Potential impact
System will be running with internal degraded pedal map. Braking may require increased effort.
