Description
The drive interface (DI) electronic control unit (ECU) detects that the electronic stability program (ESP, also known as traction control) controller area network (CAN) node is missing (MIA).
Condition
The DI ECU is not receiving the expected CAN communication from the ESP, and considers it irrational or MIA.
Clear Condition
The DI ECU receives the required CAN messages from the ESP.
Potential Impact
The DI ECU is unable to monitor the state of the ESP.
