Alternating current (AC) root mean square (RMS) input voltage is too high.
What you'll see in your Tesla
- Unable to charge - Input voltage too high
- Voltage must be within Wall Connector rating
What triggers it
AC RMS input voltage exceeds 320 V RMS for North America (NA) or 290 V RMS for Europe (EU)/China (CN) for more than 2 seconds.
When it clears
AC RMS input voltage falls below 310 V RMS for NA or 280 V RMS for EU/CN for more than 2 seconds.
Potential impact
Wall connector will not allow charging while the input voltage is too high.
